1. General Agreement These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contract between you (the “Renter”) and Obstacle Course Rentals Chicago / Jump Guy (the “Company”). By booking an inflatable obstacle course, game, or other rental equipment, the Renter agrees to these terms.
2. Booking, Deposits, and Payments
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your equipment.
Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of delivery.
Cancellations: Cancellations made outside of our standard cancellation window may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
3. Delivery and Setup Requirements
Site Preparation: The setup area must be flat, clear of debris, animal waste, sharp objects, and low-hanging branches or power lines.
Access: The Company requires a clear path for delivery. If stairs, steep hills, or tight gates are present, the Renter must notify the Company in advance.
Power: The Renter must provide a dedicated standard 110v electrical outlet within 50-100 feet of the setup area for each blower required.
4. Weather Policy
Rain and Wind: For safety reasons, the Company reserves the right to cancel or delay rentals due to inclement weather, including heavy rain, thunderstorms, or winds exceeding 15-20 mph.
If winds exceed 15 mph during your event, the Renter must immediately evacuate and deflate the obstacle course.
If the Company cancels prior to delivery due to weather, the deposit may be refunded or issued as a rain check, per our current operational policy. Once the equipment is delivered and set up, no refunds will be issued for weather-related interruptions.
5. Safety Rules and Proper Use The Renter is solely responsible for the safety of all participants and the care of the equipment during the rental period.
Adult Supervision: A responsible adult must supervise the obstacle course at ALL times.
Prohibited Items: NO shoes, eyeglasses, jewelry, sharp objects, food, drinks, gum, candy, or pets are allowed inside or on the inflatables.
Silly String Prohibition: NO SILLY STRING is allowed on or near the inflatables. Silly String permanently damages the vinyl. If Silly String is found on the unit, the Renter will be held liable for the full replacement cost of the obstacle course (which can exceed several thousand dollars).
Capacity: The Renter must strictly adhere to the capacity and weight limits specific to the rented obstacle course.
6. Equipment Damage and Cleaning
The Renter is responsible for the equipment from the time of setup until pickup.
If the equipment is damaged due to negligence, malicious intent, or failure to follow the Safety Rules, the Renter agrees to pay for all repair or replacement costs.
Equipment requiring excessive cleaning upon pickup (e.g., mud, food, vomit) will incur an additional cleaning fee.
7. Liability Release and Indemnification The Renter acknowledges that the use of inflatable obstacle courses involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. The Renter agrees to assume all risks and entirely release, indemnify, and hold harmless Obstacle Course Rentals Chicago, Jump Guy, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the rented equipment, except in cases of gross negligence by the Company.
8. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
